Don’t look now, but the 2024 Buffalo Bills are scoring the most points per game in the team’s 65-year history.

After averaging 41.7 points per game over the past three games, the Bills bumped their average from 29 points per game over their first 11 games to 31.8 this season to date.

If they can continue their current pace, this year’s team will surpass the 2020 Bills team for the most total points in team history.

After an offseason that saw the loss of key offensive playmakers Stefon Diggs and Gabe Davis, many across the NFL world assumed the Bills offense would take steps back. Instead, they became the most prolific scoring offense in franchise history—surpassing the likes of the early ’90s K-Gun teams and the OJ Simpson-led offenses of the early ’70s.

So, what’s been the difference this year over other Josh Allen-led Bills offenses? The Bills’ “everybody eats” slogan was instituted by offensive coordinator Joe Brady in the off-season and the mindset of the offensive players has garnered an unselfish approach. They are celebrating the success of every offensive weapon and it has paid dividends.

Scoring points is great, but the Bills have their eyes set on bigger goals, including reaching a Super Bowl—something that hasn’t been done in 31 seasons. And winning a Super Bowl—something that has never been achieved in team history.
