Bills sign guard David Edwards to 1-year deal -

The Buffalo Bills announced Thursday that they reached an agreement with guard David Edwards on a one-year deal.

A four-year-veteran, Edwards played his entire career with the Rams, starting 45 of 53 games with an additional 5 playoff starts. However, he missed 13 games last season due to a concussion.

The 6’6, 308 lb Edwards will provide the Bills interior offensive line with some much-needed depth and because he has two full seasons as a starting left guard with the Rams, it’ll be interesting to see if he pushes Ryan Bates or Connor McGovern for either starting guard slots.

Edwards was drafted in the fifth round of the 2019 draft and had 31 starts at right tackle while at Wisconsin. He played his first two NFL seasons under Bills offensive line coach Aaron Kromer while with the Rams.
