The Bills are favored by 11 points in Sunday night’s Week 8 game vs Green Bay
The Bills meet the Packers this weekend on Sunday Night Football, and these two teams are coming into this game heading in two completely different directions. The Bills (5-1) are one of the hottest teams in the league coming off their impressive victory in Arrowhead, while the Packers (3-4) have lost three in a row and their offense looks completely lost and unable to do much of anything.
This is the first time in Aaron Rodgers’ career that he will be a double-digit underdog in a game.
The betting line (-11) is right about where I expected it to be. The way the Bills are playing right now, it’s tough to see them losing to any team. And the Packers are just trying to figure out who their No. 1 wide receiver could be.

While I don’t usually like being too confident and overlooking teams, I did believe that the Bills were going to blowout the Steelers, and I don’t see this Sunday being any different. I think the Bills do win by double digits. There is nothing that tells me the Packers can keep this a close and competitive game right now.
The only advantage the Packers have in my opinion is the fact that they’re heavy underdogs in this one. They really don’t have much to lose and they’ll be able to play freely. Everyone is counting them out.
As Rodgers said, “It might be the best thing for us… to get exposed on national TV.”
He wasn’t talking about exposing the Bills like many Bills fans thought. He was saying that going into a game with very low expectations for them could be a good thing for his team, as they try to work through the struggles they’re currently going through.

While Rodgers and the Packers can certainly flip that switch and get it going at any time, I do think Buffalo has another pretty easy victory. It may be close starting out in the first quarter or so, but I think the Bills will eventually pull away. The Packers simply don’t have the fire power or playmakers on the offensive and defensive side of the ball to keep up with the Bills and their offense.
The Packers have struggled against average defenses in the Giants, Jets and Commanders, and I don’t see any reason that Sunday would be the time that they get it working for them. However, Aaron Rodgers is still Aaron Rodgers, and he has the capability to make big plays even if the team around him is not very good.
This betting line being at -11 is a true testament to how good this Bills team is and how Vegas and the book makers value them as a team. To make them heavy favorites against a team led by Aaron Rodgers is really saying something.
I think the Bills come out hungry after their bye week and pick up right where they left off. They’re even healthier now, and I would not want any part of this team moving forward.
