Week one is in the books, and for the Bills that is a good thing. After a lackluster offensive performance last week I am looking for the Bills offense to bounce back in a big way. Here are some prop bets I like for this upcoming week against the Raiders.
Josh Allen over 1.5 TDs- 2 Units (-158)
I know, I know, a lot of juice on this one. But think it is worth it. To put it simply, Josh cannot play any worse this week than he did last week, right? Against a Raiders secondary that is slightly improved from being towards the bottom of the league last season, I look for Josh to hit the over here. Maybe even in the first half.
Dawson Knox over 25.5 Receiving Yards (-114)
Knox had a quiet week one and finished with exactly 25 yards, catching three of his four targets in week one. The Jets have one of the better defenses in the NFL and with that Stefon Diggs saw the lion’s share of the targets, I look for Josh to spread the wealth a little more this week and try and get the ball out quickly. Meaning Dawson Knox and that tight end safety blanket could be a big part of the game plan. Maybe even sprinkle a little on him to score a TD as well, if you’re feeling frisky.
Gabe Davis First TD Scorer .25 Unit (+1200)
This one is mostly just for fun, +1200 is a real nice number and gives us something to root for on the first drives of the game. So why not throw a small bet on Gabe with a big pay out.
Here’s hoping for a stronger week two performance than week ones from the Bills offense and maybe we’ll win some money here.
Also, I generally do not bet the Bills against the spread, but at -8.5 and falling, if its drops close to -7 by kickoff, that could be a juicy play as well.
