The Buffalo Bills added some depth late in the draft by selecting guard/tackle Nick Broeker out of Ole Miss at pick 230 and cornerback Alex Austin out of Oregon State at pick 252.

Nick Broeker will bring versatility to the Bills offensive line group as he played both guard and tackle at Ole Miss. Bills general manager Brandon Beane said they are thinking of working him at all five offensive line spots which would help back up any offensive lineman if they go down with an injury.
Broeker stands at 6’ 4” and weighs 305 lbs. As a senior at Ole Miss, he played most of his snaps at left guard and allowed no sacks.
Broeker will compete against a handful of guards, some added this offseason and many still on roster from last season. Only time will tell where and how Bills head coach Sean McDermott wants to utilize Broeker.

The Bills added depth to the cornerback room with their last pick of the draft. Alex Austin is very young, coming into the draft at 21 years old and he will learn a lot behind Tre’Davious White and other veterans in the secondary.

Austin stands at 6’ 1” and weighs 195 lbs. In his last season with Oregon State, he had 42 solo tackles, 57 total tackles, 1 sack, 10 passes defended, 2 interceptions and 1 touchdown.
Alex Austin is great in zone coverage and has great field awareness. He’s very fluid with his hips when he’s back peddling and jumping on routes. He has also shown good blitzing ability coming off the line of scrimmage.
