It was reported on Wednesday morning that the Buffalo Bills and defensive tackle Larry Ogunjobi have agreed to a one-year deal.
According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, the deal is worth $8.3 million with $8M guaranteed, and also includes incentives that could earn him up to $10M. The Bills were in search of a viable 3tech and it appears Ogunjobi is their guy.
I asked former Bills and Steelers LB and current Steelers analyst @dabody52 about Larry Ogunjobi. Here’s what he wrote back:

“Penetrating 3tech. Not the most gap sound but will be a nice disruptor that could be a nice piece in addition to Ed Oliver. Productive player definitely”
Ogunjobi will add much needed depth at defensive tackle which currently only features projected 53-man roster players DaQuan Jones, Ed Oliver and DeWayne Carter.
Ogunjobi was drafted in the third round (65 overall) of the 2017 NFL Draft by the Cleveland Browns. Now entering his ninth year, he has started 108 of his 124 career games, amassing 27.5 sacks, 79 quarterback hits and 56 tackles for loss.
Last year, in his age 30 season with the Pittsburgh Steelers, Ogunjobi started 12 games and recorded 1.5 sacks, 5 tackles for loss and 7 quarterback hits.
The Bills continue their trend of making an effort to bring high-character players into the locker room, as Ogunjobi was the Steelers’ nominee for the 2024 NFL Walter Payton Man of the Year award.
