It was a day to remember for placekicker Tyler Bass as he connected for six field goals and an extra point in the 31-23 win over Cleveland. Maybe against a better team settling for field goals won’t get the job done, but in their first game of two consecutive in Detroit, the Bills took the points and got back on the winning side of things.

Quarterback Josh Allen and the Bills offense played a turnover-free game, and they got their rushing game going.
Allen was 18/27 for 197 yards and one touchdown on the day. Devin Singletary (18 carries) and James Cook (11 carries) each contributed 86 rushing yards as the Bills moved the chains and looked like a balanced offense in the second half.
"If we can run it like that we're gonna continue to run it. That's no secret."

Dawson Knox led the Bills in receiving with seven receptions for 70 yards, while Gabe Davis added 68 yards on five catches, and Stefon Diggs had four receptions for 48 yards and the only Bills receiving TD.
Defensively, the Bills run defense was spectacular while their pass coverage and pass rush struggled for much of the day. They held running back Nick Chubb to just 19 rushing yards on 14 attempts. But, Jacoby Brissett passed for 324 yards and 3 TDs.

Offensively, Mitch Morse and Allen almost had another bad snap exchange, but fortunately, nothing terrible happened. That’s now happened in back to back weeks, and it seemingly cost then the game last week against Minnesota. I am also concerned that Allen barely got to throw the ball against the Browns. But, this could be a good thing if they wan’t to try an preserve his elbow a bit. However way you slice it, a win is a win, and now the Bills can takeover first place in the AFC East with a win on Thanksgiving.
The Bills will return to Detroit for the Lions annual Thanksgiving game on Thursday for a 12:30 EST kickoff. GM Brandon Beane was asked if the Bills would stay in Detroit, saying, “Absolutely not, because you have to keep things as normal as possible.”
Traveling to Detroit to play the Lions on Thanksgiving can be tricky. I have seen the Lions beat good teams on Thanksgiving, and I have seen them play awful. The Lions have won three in a row after Sunday’s defeat of Brian Daboll’s Giants.
The Bills enjoyed their win over Cleveland but it’s back to work on Tuesday to prep for a game on Turkey day in front of a national audience.
