When the Buffalo Bills host the New York Giants this Sunday, they will embark on a six-week stretch where their opponents have a combined record of 10-19.
Here are the Bills upcoming opponents:
Sunday, 10/15 Giants (1-4)
Sunday, 10/22 at Patriots (1-4)
Thursday, 10/26 Buccaneers (3-1)
Sunday, 11/5 at Bengals (2-3)
Monday, 11/13 Broncos (1-4)
Sunday, 11/19 Jets (2-3)
On paper, the Bills should win at least five of their next six matchups—four of them being at home.
The one questionable game during this stretch is last year’s playoff matchup at Cincinnati. The Bengals have played inconsistent football so far this season, with the exception coming this last week with Joe Burrow throwing for 3 touchdowns, 317 passing yards and a QB Rating of 108.1.
Another factor that should help ease the Bills Mafia’s mind is the fact that the Bills next 6 opponents have an average offensive YPG ranking of 25.5. Here they are:
Giants: 32nd
Patriots: 26th
Bucs: 22nd
Bengals: 31st
Broncos: 16th
Jets: 22nd
The Bills had a devastating loss in London to the Jaguars last Sunday. Not only did they lose the game, but they also lost key defensive starters, Matt Milano and Daquan Jones. The one saving grace for Bills faithful to remember is that the defenders who will likely replace Milano (Dorian Williams) and Jones (Poona Ford) won’t be thrown to the wolves immediately and can ease their way into this starting Bills defensive squad as the Bills opponents will be mostly bottom-third ranked offensively over the next month and a half.
