The man who has revolutionized the Buffalo Bills’ offense is staying put.

It was announced Saturday that Bills offensive coordinator Joe Brady has removed himself from consideration for the New Orleans Saints head coaching job, and he will return to Buffalo for the 2025 season.

Brady, in his first full season as the Bills OC this year, refined an “everybody eats” philosophy. To say it was effective would be an understatement. It led to 13 different players recording receiving touchdowns (tied an all-time NFL record), and it featured the first offense in NFL history to score both 30 rushing touchdowns and 30 receiving touchdowns in a season.

After a slow offensive start from the Bills offense in 2023, which led to the firing of former Bills OC Ken Dorsey, Brady took over as the Bills interim offensive coordinator. There was almost instant chemistry in the Bills offense between Brady’s balanced attack and the play of quarterback Josh Allen. The Bills went on to win six of their next seven games and secure their fourth straight AFC East crown.

Brady was officially named offensive coordinator after the 2023 season, and has quickly put his name on the map among NFL coaching circles. Along with the Saints position, Brady also interviewed for the Chicago Bears’ head coaching job.

Brady will most likely re-enter head coaching discussions next off-season.
