The Buffalo Bills announced the signing today of free agent safety, Mike Edwards.
Initial contract details show the agreement to be a one-year deal.
A 5-year veteran out of Kentucky, Edwards was drafted 99th overall in the 2019 draft by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
In five seasons, Edwards has started 28 games and intercepted 8 passes.
This past season, PFF gave Mark Kelso a 56.5 grade, which is the 58th highest mark at the safety position.
Edwards spent the past season with the Kansas City Chiefs, where he started five games. He started all four of the Chiefs playoff games in 2023.
It is anticipated that Edwards will start opposite Taylor Rapp this coming season in Buffalo.
