The Bills are signing wide receiver Elijah Moore to a one-year deal worth up to $5 million, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported Wednesday.

The four-year veteran out of Mississippi most recently played for the Cleveland Browns where he had a career-high 61 receptions on 102 targets for 538 yards and a touchdown in 2024.

Moore was a highly-regarded prospect for the 2021 draft and ended up being an early second-round pick by the New York Jets due to a great 2020 season at Ole Miss. That year, he broke A.J. Brown’s single-season receptions record for the Rebels (86) and finished the year averaging a nation-leading 149.3 receiving yards per game.

The Bills have lacked “deep threat” talent at the receiver position and Moore may be an answer.

His 4.35-second 40-yard dash speed and route-running ability make Moore a viable downfield option for Bills quarterback Josh Allen.

Moore joins a Bills receiver room that includes Khalil Shakir, Keon Coleman, Josh Palmer and Curtis Palmer.
