The Buffalo Bills wrapped up their preseason with a win against the Chicago Bears, 24-21. There were some good and some bad and it’s now time for the Bills staff to make decisions on who will stay on the 53-man roster and who will be let go.
The Good
Quarterbacks
Josh Allen started the game for the Bills and led an impressive 12 play, 72 yard touchdown drive that took 6 minutes. Allen went 5 for 7 for 49 yards and hit on a couple really nice throws downfield.

Kyle Allen was the only quarterback behind Josh Allen due to Matt Barkley being out with a thumb injury. Kyle Allen threw 34 passes and hit on 18 of them for a total of 162 yards and a touchdown tacked on. Allen had an interception and a fumble but made up for it with a nice touchdown throw to tight end Quinton Morris.

Running Backs
The Buffalo Bills run game was led by an electric game from Darrynton Evans who ran 9 times for a total of 65 yards and an amazing touchdown fighting through tacklers and muscling his way in.

Newly acquired Ty Johnson also had a good performance rushing 11 times for a total of 51 yards. Damien Harris was activated and was used where most people thought he would be, in the red zone. Harris ran for 25 yards on 7 carries and finished off the Bills opening drive with a touchdown run near the goal line.
Receivers
The Bills coaching staff made it apparent to get everyone involved and they sure did that with the receiving core. The Bills got the ball to 14 different receivers which added up to a total of 23 receptions for 211 yards and one touchdown grab by Quinton Morris. Deonte Harty had the most receptions with 4 which went for 23 yards.
Defensive Backs
The Bills defensive backs had a good performance in their preseason finale. Christian Benford started at CB2 and held his own across from Tre’Davious White, Dane Jackson and Kaiir Elam filled in after they went out.

Cam Lewis led the defense with 6 total tackles and one pass defended. Damar Hamlin came in with 4 total tackles and 3 solo tackles. Ja’Marcus Ingram had the Bills only interceptions which he returned for 36 yards, Ingram also had 4 total tackles and 1 pass defended.
The Bad
Turnovers
The Bills have had a turnover in every preseason game and this game was no different, Kyle Allen threw an interception to Tyrique Stevenson, Kyle Allen also had a fumble.

Special Teams
The Buffalo Bills special teams did not have the best day, letting up a blocked punt and allowing large kick returns. Tyler Bass also missed a field goal.
