The Buffalo Bills beat the Cincinnati Bengals in dramatic fashion last Sunday to move their record to 9-4, allowing them to move up one spot into the sixth AFC playoff seed. They also kept their slim hopes of winning the AFC East alive.

With four weeks left in the regular season, the Bills need to continue to stack wins to ensure a playoff spot. They can keep their AFC East crown hopes alive with a win this weekend versus the East-leading Patriots, who can clinch it with a win.

There are several teams the Bills are rooting for to lose this upcoming weekend. Obviously, a Bills win versus the Patriots would help Buffalo the most.

Here are the teams that Bills fans should be rooting for in order of prevalence this weekend:

Cardinals (+9.5) over Texans
The Texans (8-5) currently hold the head-to-head tiebreaker versus the Bills and if they win and Buffalo loses, it would move the Bills back to the seven-seed.

Chiefs (-4.5) over Chargers
I say it week after week—it’s extremely difficult for me to root for the Chiefs to win. However, Kansas City beating the Chargers (9-4) on Sunday would help the Bills keep pace with them should Buffalo lose. If Kansas City loses, though, they’d move to 6-8 and any small hope of them still making the playoffs would be crushed.

You could say that any outcome in the Chargers versus Chiefs game would be beneficial for the Bills, and at the same time detrimental to the Bills.

Seahawks (-13.5) over Colts
The Colts (8-5) now find themselves on the outside looking in for the last playoff spot. A Colts loss would ensure that Buffalo would retain their wild card status no matter their outcome on Sunday.

Packers (-2.5) over Broncos
The number one seed isn’t dead for the Bills yet—although it is on life-support.

A Broncos (11-2) loss to the Packers would keep their hopes of the number one seed alive for another week should they beat New England.

Bengals (+2.5) over Ravens
Between the Ravens and Steelers, which AFC North team would you want the Bills to play on the road in the wild card?

The correct answer is the Steelers, and a Ravens (6-7) loss would make this scenario more of a possibility.

Steelers (-3.5) over Dolphins
As mentioned before, Bills fans should be rooting for the Steelers to win the AFC North as only one team from this division will be making the playoffs.

A Steelers win and a Ravens loss would all but ensure this happening.

Jets (+11.5) over Jaguars
The Jaguars (9-4) currently lead the AFC South. Should Jacksonville win their division and Buffalo somehow wins the East, they’d be battling for positioning among the divisional winners.

If Jacksonville doesn’t win the South and Buffalo wins the East, they’d still be battling for positioning among wild card teams.
