The Buffalo Bills are back for day 2 of training camp at St.John Fisher University. The Bills held four total press conferences starting with second year offensive coordinator Ken Dorsey before practice. After practice the Bills held three more press conferences with RB James Cook, WR Gabe Davis and TE Dawson Knox. This is a recap of all of the Bills pressers from day 2 of training camp.
Ken Dorsey
Ken Dorsey had the first press conference of the day at 9:00 A.M. EST. Dorsey started off the presser saying he wants WR Gabe Davis to do multiple things from short, intermediate and deep routes to throw opposing defense’s “off-balance” and believes he can do those things. Dorsey said “there’s a vision” for rookie TE Dalton Kincaid and that they don’t want to rush his development. Dorsey added, Kincaid has tremendous route running ability and body control in and out of cuts. Dorsey keened in on RAC (run after catch) and creating separation in the offense and he believes the pass catchers can do that.
When Ken Dorsey was asked about Stefon Diggs and if he feels things are resolved he replied with, “Stef’s been great” and continued by saying he is a “tremendous human being.” Dorsey said that James Cook continues to grow and they are excited to see what he can do with his versatility and be a “every down back.” Ken Dorsey finished his pressers by talking about ball security and that it all ties together and a lot of things go into ball security, “it’s never one individual when talking about ball security.”
