The 4-1 Bills head to Las Vegas on Sunday to take on the Raiders at 4:25pm. Buffalo sits second in the AFC, a half-game behind the 4-0 Chiefs. For the Bills, the goal is to win the AFC East and secure the 1 seed. Worst case, keep a wild card spot locked up. Take care of business in Vegas first. After that, here is who Bills fans should be pulling for in Week 6.
Seahawks over Broncos (Final: Broncos 17, Seahawks 14)
Thursday night did the Bills no favors. Denver moves to 4-2 and joins the crowd of AFC teams chasing a top seed. A three-point loss stings, but there is plenty of football left.
Chargers over Chiefs (Sunday, 4:25pm)
Kansas City is 4-0 and the only AFC team ahead of Buffalo. The Chargers are 0-5, so this is a big ask. Still, a Chiefs loss paired with a Bills win in Vegas would put Buffalo alone atop the AFC.
Jets over Patriots (Sunday, 1pm)
New England is 3-2 and the only division team within striking distance. A Jets win drops the Patriots to .500 and, with a Bills win, gives Buffalo a two-game cushion in the AFC East.
Texans over Jaguars (Sunday, 9:30am)
Jacksonville is 4-1, the same record as Buffalo. Houston is 1-4, so an upset here would be a gift. Set an early alarm and pull for the Texans. Duuuval? More like DuuuvaLLL.
Browns over Ravens (Sunday, 1pm)
Baltimore is also 4-1 and sits right on Buffalo’s heels. Cleveland is 3-2, and at home, so this one is very winnable. The Bills still play the Ravens, but any loss Baltimore takes before then makes life easier.
Buccaneers over Steelers (Sunday, 1pm)
Pittsburgh is 3-2 and part of a crowded AFC wild card group. A Steelers loss keeps one more contender from gaining ground.
Titans over Colts (Sunday, 1pm)
Tennessee is 0-5, and Indianapolis is 2-3, so neither team is a real threat. Still, a Colts loss keeps them out of the wild card picture. Plus, the Titans have to win one eventually.
Summary: Who the Bills should root for in Week 6
- Seahawks over Broncos
- Chargers over Chiefs
- Jets over Patriots
- Texans over Jaguars
- Browns over Ravens
- Buccaneers over Steelers
- Titans over Colts
