Peter DiBiasi: After a thrashing of the Titans on Monday night, the Bills head south to take on their division rival Miami Dolphins, who are coming off a comeback win over the Ravens. This is the first time in a while that the Bills will face the Dolphins where they are fully loaded at the receiver position (Waddle and Hill). The Bills secondary will have their hands full due to injuries. The key to the game will be how rookie corners Elam and Benford will fare against Waddle and Hill. If they can keep them in check, it will lead to a Bills win. If not, then it might be a long day for the Bills. With the Bills new and improved defensive line going against a poor Dolphins offensive line, the Bills should have no problem getting after Tua. On the other side, the Bills offense is rolling; Allen looks like the front-runner for MVP, and Diggs is fully hitting his stride. It might take pressure off the defense if the Bills can get the run game going. I think Allen and company make one or two more plays than Tua and company, and the Bills escape Miami with a win. Prediction: Bills 34, Dolphins 24.
Matt Homan: The Miami Dolphins are the new trendy NFL team going into Week 3. As you all know, they came from behind and beat the Ravens after being down 35-14 in the fourth quarter last Sunday. Tua threw for 469 yards/6 TDs, Tyreek Hill had 11 receptions for 190 yards and Jaylen Waddle caught 11 balls for 171. The Bills biggest challenge this Sunday will be containing Hill and Waddle, who have been newly crowned the “blur brothers.” And, if safeties Jordan Poyer and Micah Hyde along with cornerback Dane Jackson are all inactive, the challenge may be insurmountable. On Friday it was announced that Ed Oliver will sit another game, however, his defensive line counterpart Tim Settle should be ready to go on Sunday. A major key to the Bills success will be if the Bills front four can put pressure on Tua as they did against the Rams and Titans this season. Josh Allen has a history of dominating the Dolphins and I have no doubt he will again. Get your money in on the OVER. Prediction: Bills 42, Dolphins 35.
Ben Morningstar: The Bills are coming off another dominating victory in Week 2 against the Titans, defeating them 41-7, and that’s with all their starters sitting out in the 4th quarter. Bills have a tougher task this week traveling down to South Beach to take on the undefeated Miami Dolphins. The Dolphins came back from 21 points down in the 4th quarter to defeat the Ravens last week. I think this will be the closest game the Bills have played so far. It’s always tough to play a divisional opponent on the road. However, I think the way the Bills offense is clicking right now, I think Allen and the Bills make a few more plays than Tua does. The Bills are missing some key defensive players this week, which could hurt against Hill and Waddle, but ultimately I believe the Bills outlast the Dolphins and win this game. Prediction: Bills 35, Dolphins 28.
Daniel Adams: The first two weeks of the season the Bills took on the Rams and Titans and beat them with relative ease. This week the Bills will take on a division rival and a 2-0 team in the Miami Dolphins. The Dolphins are a very talented team on both sides of the ball with many weapons to help them win games. The addition of Tyreek Hill this offseason has paid off so far. Hill and Jaylen Waddle have been big factors to helping the Dolphins win and this week they will surely be looking their way. The Bills have many injuries going into Sunday that can lead to concern, especially on the defensive line and in the secondary. The Bills are big on the “next man up” mentality and Sean McDermott will trust his rookie corners and backups. I believe Sunday’s game will be a shootout and the Bills offense will be able to do what they normally do, and that’s putting up points. Josh Allen and Stefon Diggs will have another great game together, and Dawson Knox will finally get going and he’ll be included a lot. The Dolphins offense will also score a lot of points and give the Bills defense a challenge. The Bills will win in a high-scoring game. Prediction: Bills 38, Dolphins 30.
Phil Gong: Counting the Bills out this week due to injuries after they beat the crap out of the Rams and Titans (both in primetime)? Do that at your own risk. Even with injuries to the likes of Micah Hyde, Jordan Poyer, and Ed Oliver, the Bills have enough to win this game. The defense will be schemed by Leslie Frazier and Sean McDermott to terrorize Tua, while as long as the Bills have JA17 on their side, the offense should run swimmingly. The Bills are also getting back receiver Gabriel Davis who missed last week’s game against the Titans. With the offense fully healthy, expect a downpour against a mid-tier defense that the Dolphins have. I expect even with a lot of injuries to the Bills defense, the Bills will blow out the Dolphins with the defense still producing 3+ sacks and at least 2 interceptions. The Bills will show everyone that no matter who is injured they are deep enough to beat anyone, especially as long as Josh Allen is good to go. Prediction: Bills 55, Dolphins 24.
