Buffalo Bills running back James Cook is on pace to tie Pro Football Hall of Famer O.J. Simpson for the most rushing touchdowns in a single season in franchise history.
Through his first 10 games (he missed one due to injury), Cook has 10 rushing touchdowns. If he can keep his touchdown-per-game pace through the team’s final six games, he’ll tie Simpson’s record of 16 which he set in 1975.

Cook also is on pace to reach second place for most all-purpose touchdowns in franchise history. If he keeps scoring at his current pace, he’ll have 18 at season’s end, which would surpass Josh Allen (2023) and Cookie Gilchrist (1962).
If James Cook keeps scoring TD’s at his current pace, he and OJ Simpson will be the only Bills players with 16 or more Single-Season All-Purpose TD’s in Bills history.
