During Monday’s practice, closed to the public, both Josh Allen and Dion Dawkins left Bills practice early.
Per Ryan O’Halloran, Josh Allen left the field with head athletic trainer, Nate Breske, was out 18 minutes and returned to practice.
Upon his return, Allen would go on to be his normal self, hitting Trent Sherfield for a touchdown during a two-minute drill.
Dion Dawkins left prior to the second team period and returned to the field without pads. He was replaced by David Quesenberry. Thad Brown noted that Dawkins “appeared OK” and was “walking on his own.”
Alaine Getzenberg reported that Dawkins had a “light brace on his right hand.”
