It was announced Thursday that Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen was named AFC Offensive Player of the Month for his play in September.

Allen led all AFC quarterbacks in passer rating (118.9), QBR (82.3), and total touchdowns (9), and tied for the lead in touchdown passes (7). All of this while not throwing an interception.

Allen had a near-perfect game in Week 3 versus the Jaguars in primetime, when he completed 75% of his passes, threw for four touchdowns, was not sacked, and committed no turnovers—the first time this has ever been done in NFL history.

This is the third Offensive Player of the Month awarded to Josh Allen, the others coming in September and December 2020.
