Josh Allen, Patrick Mahomes set to tee off against Tom Brady, Aaron Rodgers
It was announced on Monday that Bills’ quarterback Josh Allen will be pairing up with Patrick Mahomes to compete against Tom Brady and Aaron Rodgers in Capital One’s The Match, which is a 12-hole exhibition on June 1 at Wynn Las Vegas, the only golf course on the Vegas strip.
Allen and Mahomes, bitter AFC rivals on the football field, will now become teammates on the golf course. The young guns and future of the NFL are going up against two old vets – who also happen to be two of the best QBs to ever play the position. This is definitely going to be “must-watch TV.”
Even if you’re not a golf fan, you’re going to be tuning in to see how powerful Allen and Mahomes can be with a driver and to see if Brady and Rodgers can be as precise on a golf course as they are sitting in the pocket.
Brady and Allen have already began the smack talk, going back and forth at each other on Twitter.
It’s certainly going to be a fun tournament watching these four competitors chirp back and forth at each other on the golf course.
The 12-hole event will be broadcasted on TNT. Coverage will start at 6:30 p.m. ET as the group will be set to tee off at 7 p.m. Josh Allen is certainly starting to take the world by storm. He participated in a pro-am golf tournament just a few months ago and is now already slated to tee off with the best of the best in the NFL. Get your popcorn ready, because this is going to be fun!
