Buffalo Bills co-owner Kim Pegula broke down the team’s huddle after the third day of training camp on Friday.

Pegula, who had mostly been out of the public eye for over two years, brought a whirlwind of emotion and inspiration to all who surrounded her during the breakdown. For anyone who has been around the team or followed them closely over the last couple of years, you could imagine how special the moment was for Bills players, staff, and especially the Pegulas.

Bills veteran offensive tackle Dion Dawkins said, “that’s still the mama bear, we’re happy to have her,” in reference to Kim Pegula, who has owned the Bills since 2014 along with her husband Terry.

On Pegula, quarterback Josh Allen said, “we’ve been praying for her everyday here and we’re glad to see her back on the field.”

In June 2022, Pegula was hospitalized due to a cardiac arrest, leading to a significant expressive aphasia caused by prolonged lack of oxygen to her brain.

Her training camp breakdown on Friday marked her first public appearance in 14 months.
