Well, it doesn’t seem like the move from Tampa, Florida to Buffalo, New York is bothering new Bills tight end OJ Howard. Howard posted this photo of him shirtless after mountain climbing in Colorado:
Howard doesn’t have much history playing in cold weather games (five pro seasons in Tampa Bay, four college seasons at Alabama), but it’s good to see he’s at least willing to get used to the harsh temperatures he’ll see in Buffalo come December and January.
In two of the games the Bills played this year, both against New England, they faced conditions of 55 mph winds (week 13) and also a 5-degree game (Wildcard Round).
Howard will be asked to both catch and block in the Bills’ creative offense, and if the forecast is calling for another sub-zero game in January, I think we can assume that he’ll be ready.
