Bills star receiver Stefon Diggs is off to a historic start to this season. At just about the halfway mark, Diggs is on pace to break pretty much every Bills single season receiving record, most of which he already owns. In a Bills offense where secondary options have been a bit inconsistent, Diggs has been a star and at times put the receiving core on his back to keep the Bills offense afloat.

Stefon Diggs has been named to the All-Pro team twice in his career, both while with the Bills, and if he is able to keep up this pace he appears to be well on his way to a third nominee. He currently ranks fourth in the league in receiving yards with 748, is tied for third in touchdowns with six, and leads the league in receptions with 64. All of which put him on pace for new career highs, and new Bills single season records.  With Dolphins receiver Tyreek Hill putting up video game numbers in Miami it will be hard for Diggs to overtake him for the league lead in yards, but he should be right in the hunt for one of the three first team All-Pro receiver slots.

There was a lot of off-season media chatter (and some in season) about Diggs and if he wanted to be here in Buffalo and the kind of season he would have this year. So far Diggs has silenced all of the doubters and been a model teammate on and off of the field, he has even been voted a captain by his teammates in each of the last three seasons.  If the Bills want to have the kind of season they expect to have they will need Diggs to continue this historic pace and help carry an at times struggling offense.
