The Bills bounced back with a tremendous win over their division rival, the New York Jets beating them 32-6. With this win the Bills move to 6-5 on the season and sit in second place in the AFC East, fighting for a playoff spot.
The Good:
Joe Brady
The Buffalo Bills fired their offensive coordinator Ken Dorsey who was with the Bills last season on a team that ended with a record of 13-3. This year was not so much the case, the Bills started 5-5 before firing Dorsey from his offensive coordinator duties and in steps quarterback coach, Joe Brady.
Brady was the big piece many Bills fans kept an eye on during the game and he has many fans pleased with how good of a game he called. In fact Brady called such a good game that the 32 points put up by the Bills are the most points the Jets defense has allowed since the 2021 season. The change had been made at the offensive coordinator position and so far Brady has shown some refreshments to the Bills offense, we will see if it transfers into the tough schedule going forward.

Sean McDermott
Many fans of the Bills Mafia were coming for head coach Sean McDermott’s head but this week it looked different on the field. McDermott’s defense held the Jets offense to only 6 points the entirety of Sunday’s game and left the Bills offense with a lot of comfortability.
Sean McDermott’s defense finished the game with 57 total tackles, 6 sacks, 5 tackles for loss, 5 passes defended, 8 quarterback hits, 2 interceptions, and 2 fumble recoveries.
Josh Allen
Josh Allen had a huge bounce back game against one of the league’s top defenses. Allen has been critiqued time and time again heading into Sunday’s game against the Jets yet Allen shut out all the noise and went to work.
Josh Allen finished 20/32 for 275 yards, 3 passing touchdowns and an interception. Allen took the ball himself 5 times for a total of 15 yards. Hopefully for the Bills, Allen can have another great performance against the Philadelphia Eagles.
Josh Allen has now tallied 206 career offensive touchdowns, setting a new NFL record for a player's first six seasons. #BillsMafia | #GoBills | #BuiltInBuffalo

Ty Johnson
Ty Johnson played a very big part in the Bills offensive success against the Jets, Johnson’s former team. Johnson wasn’t so active in the run game as he only had 3 carries for 11 yards, but it’s in the passing game where Johnson helped a ton, Johnson finished the game with 3 receptions for 47 yards and a touchdown.

Ed Oliver
Ed Oliver has been a key piece in the Bills success as of late and has proved himself worthy of the contract that the Bills gave him prior to the season. Oliver finished the game with 3 total tackles, 3 solo tackles, 1 sack, 1 tackle for loss, and a quarterback hit.

Leonard Floyd
Leonard Floyd has been great since arriving in Buffalo and played another great game against the Jets. Floyd finished the game with 4 total tackles, 3 solo tackles, 2.5 sacks, 2 tackles for loss, and 3 quarterback hits.
Tyrel Dodson
Tyrel Dodson led the Bills in tackles on Sunday. Dodson finished the game with 7 total tackles, 6 solo tackles, 1 sack, 1 tackle for loss, and 1 quarterback hit.
Terrel Bernard
Another linebacker who had a good game is Terrel Bernard who finished the game one below Dodson in terms of tackles with 6 total along with 2 solo tackles, 0.5 sack, and a quarterback hit.
Rasul Douglas
The Bills made the push for a cornerback at the trade deadline, many thought it would be Jaylon Johnson from the Bears but the Bills pulled off a trade for veteran corner Rasul Douglas from Green Bay to Buffalo for a 2024 third round draft pick.
It seems like Douglas has finally caught up to rhythm with the Bills, in only his third game he finished the day with 4 total tackles, 2 solo tackles, 3 passes defended, and had a season high two interceptions along with a fumble recovery.
It’s safe to say that newly acquired Rasul Douglas was a key piece in the Bills beating the Jets on Sunday.

Tyler Bass
Tyler Bass helped the Bills add on when needed. Bass hit on all four of his field goals and made 2 out of 3 of his extra point attempts and scored a total of 14 points for the Bills.
The Bad:
Stefon Diggs
Stefon Diggs did not start off hot for the Bills. Diggs dropped a few balls to start the game and it didn’t heat up after the fact either. Diggs finished the day with 4 receptions for 27 yards.
What the stats don’t show however is the large impact he had on the sideline and in the huddle, Diggs was alert and hyping his teammates up throughout the entirety of the game.
The National Media will never show you this side of Stefon Diggs.

Gabe Davis
Many Bills fans are questioning what happened with Gabe Davis against the Jets as he didn’t impact the game much through the air. Davis had 0 receptions on the night yet Joe Brady was able to utilize the younger guys to help towards the win.
LOVE this answer for multiple reasons.

"Gabe Davis had zero catches in the game but in my mind, he was the player of the game… often times we see stats and it doesn't paint the whole picture of how the game is being played."

Penalties
The Bills didn’t help themselves in terms of penalties as they got called for 8 flags that resulted in a total of 77 yards.
