Starting with the Thursday night game between the Miami Dolphins and Baltimore Ravens, there are six games with rooting-interest for Bills fans outside of their matchup with the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday.
Currently, the Bills are in second place behind the New England Patriots in the AFC East and hold the fifth seed in the conference.

Several games this weekend will have direct impact on the Bills’ playoff seeding, some more significant than others.
Obviously, the outcome Bills fans should want the most this weekend is for Buffalo to beat the Chiefs—for so many reasons.
With that being said, here are the teams Bills fans should be rooting for to win in order of prevalence this weekend.
Falcons (+5.5) over Patriots
The Bills still have the number one AFC seed in their sights. But first, they must overcome the Patriots who have the tiebreaker over the Bills because of their head-to-head victory in Week 5.
A Patriots loss and a Bills win this Sunday would move the Bills from the fifth seed to the second in the AFC.
Steelers (+3.5) over Colts
The Colts (7-1) have the best record in the AFC and currently hold the number one seed. For the Bills to attain the AFC’s top seed, the Colts are going to have to lose at some point.
Texans (-1.5) over Broncos
Technically, if we want to get snarky, we should root for anything that would keep the Chiefs from winning the AFC West for the eleventh straight season and having one or multiple home games in the playoffs. This means we want the Broncos and Chargers to continue to win.
But since we’re looking for the best path for the Bills to get the number one overall AFC seed, we need to root for the Broncos, who currently lead the AFC West outright, to lose.
Titans (+9.5) over Chargers
Same rule for those who don’t want to see the Chiefs with home games in January applies with the Chargers. A Chargers win keeps the Chiefs out of first place for another week no matter what they do against Buffalo.
However, since the Chargers are on the Bills’ heals currently in the wild card seeding with the second wild card spot, Bills fans should be rooting for Titans.
Raiders (+3.5) over Jaguars
Currently, the Jaguars are on the outside looking in for the third and final wild card spot, which is currently held by the Chiefs.
A Jaguars loss would put them at 4-4.
However, a Jaguars win over the Raiders coupled with a Chiefs loss to the Bills would push the Chiefs out of the last wild card spot.
Dolphins (+8.5) over Ravens
If the Ravens (2-5) reach the playoffs with a healthy Lamar Jackson, look out.
