The NFL released the news earlier this week that the Bills vs Dolphins game in Week 15 was flexed to Saturday, December 17 at 8:15 p.m.

Forecast for that night? Cold.

It will arguably be the biggest game of the season for both teams as they prepare for an AFC East showdown and a game that could potentially determine the outcome of who wins the division.

This will be the second Saturday night regular season game the Bills have played in the last three years. The last one was when they laid a whooping on the Broncos in Denver to secure a playoff spot in 2020.

We’re all hoping that this game will be no different. And, one thing I’m sure Bills fans are all hoping for is that it’s cold. These two teams have a very similar approach as they are more pass-oriented, however, the Bills have been able to find their run game over the past several weeks, which is an element they didn’t have the last time these two teams played. The colder it is, the more important a good run game will be.

I’m very excited for this game: a Saturday night in late December and the entire country will be watching as two of the AFC’s best battle it out in Buffalo. The atmosphere is sure to be electric on that Saturday night, and Bills Mafia will be ready to give Tua Tagovailoa and Tyreek Hill a “warm” welcome. Hill has yet to face the Bills in Buffalo with fans in the seats. So this will be a new experience for him and I’m sure Bills Mafia is ready to welcome him in with open arms.

The Dolphins will be coming in off back-to-back west coast games and on a short week as they play the Chargers in LA on Sunday night this upcoming Sunday. We’ll see how the travel of the Dolphins affects them and their gameplan for arguably their biggest game of the year.

While we’re all very excited for this game in just over a week, we can’t overlook the Jets team coming up. This is another big game as it’s a divisional home game. And while the Bills are currently in the driver’s seat in both the division and the AFC itself, this is a game they can’t overlook. Every game matters when you’re striving for a bye and home field advantage in the playoffs.

This will be the first “home” game for the Bills in over three weeks since the nightmare that was the Vikings game.

The Bills need to put on a show and dominate the Jets like they’ve been known to in the past. I’m confident that they will get the job done against Mike White and a Jets defense that gave Josh Allen fits last time.

Take care of business on Sunday, and then turn around and get ready for another huge divisional showdown Saturday night.

Be ready. It might be chilly.
