After winning three road games in twelve days, the Buffalo Bills will get some much needed rest before they host the NY Jets on December 11. And while the Bills players have a ten-day break, Bills Mafia will be scoreboard watching this coming Sunday in hopes of moving up the AFC playoff seeding ladder.

As it stands today, the Bills are in first place in the AFC East. Granted that could easily change with a Miami win Sunday at San Francisco as the Dolphins have the head to head tiebreaker over the Bills.

The Bills are also currently holding the No. 2 seed in the AFC playoff picture, but with a Chiefs loss to the Bengals AND a Dolphins loss; Buffalo could reclaim the No. 1 seed.

The lowest the Bills could be seeded after Sunday’s games is No. 5, that is if the Chiefs and Dolphins both win.

If Buffalo is going to attain the No. 1 seed and keep it for the duration of the season, this week’s Chiefs and Bengals matchup is crucial. The Chiefs have a cupcake schedule after this week and will most likely win out. With a win over the Bengals on Sunday, the Chiefs have 76% odds of ending the season as the AFC’s No. 1 seed, and with a loss, they would have a 36% chance at claiming the top seed. The Bills are patiently waiting a slip up from KC.

Bills fans should be rooting for the following outcomes this weekend for the best possible playoff seeding:

(1) Chiefs lose to Bengals

(5) Dolphins lose to 49ers

(3) Titans lose to Eagles

(4) Ravens lose to Broncos

(7) Jets lose to Vikings

(8) Chargers lose to Raiders
