The loss to the Eagles last Sunday was a heartbreaker for Bills Mafia. It also negatively affected the Bills chances of making the playoffs—but it could be worse, the Bills could have lost to an AFC team.

Bills fans can relax this weekend as the Bills are on their BYE week. However, there are some important AFC games with playoff implications that Bills fans should root for:
Cardinals OVER Steelers (5) Rams OVER Browns (6) Titans (14) OVER Colts (7)
The Bills likely won’t catch the Dolphins for the AFC East title. So, if they’re going to make the playoffs, they’ll have to leapfrog several teams including the Steelers, Browns and Colts.
Texans (8) OVER Broncos (9) The good thing about this Texans and Broncos games is ONE of them will lose. The bad thing is that ONE of them will win.
Jaguars (3) OVER Bengals (11) The Bengals don’t have a quarterback. However, if they win over the Jaguars, they’ll have the equivalent record as the Bills at 6-6.
Commanders OVER Miami (4) In order for the Bills to catch the Dolphins and take the AFC East, Miami will need to lose at LEAST two games before they play Buffalo in the season finale AND the Bills would have to win out. Highly unlikely considering both team’s schedules.
Packers OVER Chiefs (2) The Chiefs will most probably win the AFC West and have a 1 or 2 Seed. This game doesn’t have much influence over the Bills playoff chances, but it’s always nice to see the Chiefs lose.
Patriots (16) OVER Chargers (13) Falcons OVER Jets (15)
The Chargers and Jets have seven losses. It’s hard to think that they’d have a chance of overtaking the Bills in the playoff seeding and if they did, the Bills chances would be nil.
