According to Aaron Wilson, who covers the NFL and the Texans for KPRC2, is reporting that the Bills are expected to sign guard David Edwards to a two-year contract extension worth up to $6 million.
Edwards spent this past season with the Bills, and before that, he was a member of the Los Angeles Rams, where he was part of their recent Super Bowl-winning team in 2022.
During this past season with the Bills, Edwards was primarily the Bills main backup on the offensive line, playing a total of 148 snaps and came when the Bills decided to use their jumbo set up front.
With the recent trade of Ryan Bates to Chicago, the Bills were expected to prioritize Edwards as they needed to replenish their depth on the offensive line.
According to PFF, Edwards posted one of his more productive years with the Bills last year, finishing with an overall grade of 82.7 and a run-blocking grade of 81.0 while only committing one penalty in 148 snaps.
