It was announced Wednesday that Bills defensive end Gregory Rousseau was named AFC Defensive Player of the Week, and deservingly so.

This past Sunday versus the Cardinals, Rousseau recorded three crucial sacks for the Bills along with a forced fumble and six tackles in the Bills’ come-from-behind 34-28 victory. He forced a turnover that helped the Bills regain the lead after starting in a 14-point hole.

This is the second time Rousseau has received this honor. He was also awarded AFC DPOW honors after his Week 5 performance versus the Chiefs in 2021.
