Bills bolster defense on Day 2 of NFL Draft  

The Buffalo Bills have finally made their first selections in the 2026 NFL Draft following their trade backs.

Buffalo’s first selection came early in the second round, selecting Clemson edge rusher T.J. Parker. Later in the second round the Bills made a trade up to select Ohio State cornerback Davison Igbinosun.  

Round 2, Pick 35 (Clemson EDGE, T.J. Parker)  

Buffalo’s first selection in this year’s draft was defense, adding to the scheme that new Bills defensive coordinator Jim Leonhard is bringing in. At 6’ 4” and weighing 260 lbs, Parker racked up 21.5 sacks along with 41.5 tackles for loss over his three seasons with Clemson. In 2024, he set a school record with six forced fumbles. Parker is a solid addition for the Bills defense, adding to a position of need early in the draft. He will have the opportunity to learn from veteran edge rusher Bradley Chubb.  

T.J. Parker Scouting Report 

Strengths: 

• Long-arm length off the edge, strip ball ability  

• Great upper body strength and anchor when diagnosing runs  

• Good body control when adjusting to reads  

• Displays some versatility dropping into zone coverage  

Weaknesses:  

• Can get pushed off his spot by bigger tackles, opening lanes for the run  

• Could improve open field tackling  

• Does not play sideline-to-sideline  

Round 2, Pick 62 (Ohio State CB, Davison Igbinosun)  

The Bills made another trade in this year’s draft, this time trading up with Denver to take Ohio State cornerback Davison Igbinosun. He is one of the bigger corners in this year’s draft at 6’ 2”, known for his physicality at the position. Transferring from Ole Miss, Igbinosun played three seasons with the Buckeyes, averaging 30 solo tackles a season with the program. In 2025, he had 53 tackles, eight pass deflections, and two interceptions. The Bills front office wanted a press corner, and they got one, a physical one.  

Davison Igbinosun Scouting Report  

Strengths:  

• Length and physicality to challenge any receiver  

• Attacks the catch point very well, forces pass breakups  

• Willing tackler who charges downhill  

• 53 straight starts across both SEC and Big Ten schools  

Weaknesses:  

• Has had issue grabbing receivers late in the play  

• Hip movement, struggles at times in transition  

• Struggles playing the ball on vertical shots
