The Buffalo Bills decided to beef up their defensive front yet again on Day 2 of the NFL draft, selecting EDGE Landon Jackson with the 72nd pick (Round 3) after taking defensive tackle TJ Sanders in Round 2.

Jackson, a senior from Arkansas, is a lengthy, big-bodied edge-rusher. Jackson became a top draft prospect for the Buffalo Bills, rising on their board leading up to the draft, and they got him at great value in the third round. Jackson will bring length to the Bills defensive line that is much needed, and he also has great hand work when fighting blocks.

  • Shows great arm length and strength at the point of attack.
  • Great hand technique when rushing the passer.

  • Not the most fluid mover/change-of-direction.
  • Limited bend in pass-rush off the edge.
  • Needs to utilize more pass-rush moves.
