A reunion between the Buffalo Bills and Stefon Diggs in 2026 would instantly become one of the biggest storylines in the NFL. After helping transform Buffalo’s offense during his first stint with the team, Diggs returning to Western New York would signal a renewed push for a Super Bowl championship alongside quarterback Josh Allen.
On the field, Diggs would bring back the elite route running, experience, and competitive edge that made him one of the league’s top receivers. Even if he is no longer in his absolute prime, his chemistry with Allen would likely reignite quickly. Defenses would once again be forced to account for Diggs on every snap, opening opportunities for Buffalo’s younger offensive weapons, like newly-drafted WR Skyler Bell, and giving the Bills a proven playmaker in key moments.
Off the field, the move would create a massive emotional reaction from Bills Mafia. While his departure left fans with mixed feelings, a return could represent unfinished business for both sides. Buffalo has remained close to championship contention for years, and bringing Diggs back would feel like one final all-in attempt to finally deliver a Lombardi Trophy to the city.
In many ways, it would be a full-circle moment for one of the most impactful eras in Bills football history.
